Not as if the push to get women to breastfeed has not been strident and loud since Lynn Redgrave first did it in public. La Leche League, you name it. There are some babies who are allergic to all milk. I had a friend whose daughter had to do soy milk. That was in 70s. My poor mom, try as she may, just could not produce enough. I do agree, the cloned, genetic trickery, etc etc is gross, unethical, and many times perhaps diabolical. Consumers generally do not care about the junk they eat. It is disheartening. I remember as a child the Monsanto ride at Disney. It never filled me with awe. At about the same time in Glendale my mom took me to an open house to check out an underground bomb shelter that was like a large buried trailer. This, they said, would protects us from nuclear fallout. People tolerate this shit. Now they want a nuclear war in Ukraine. Killing seems to be their recreation, like Norman Mailer said before he died.

If a mother was strapped for breast milk for her baby, I would suggest buying some of the longtime organic brands, but, yes, they are expensive and a single working mother might not be able to afford.
